The District

One of the selling points of living in northern Virginia is being so close to the district.  The 68.3 square miles hosts world renowned art, performers and historical artifacts.  The epicenter is a short ride to the metro station that delivers travelers to the DC mall area. Most of the smithsonian’s are in walking distance from the mall metro.  One of my favorite museums is the National portrait gallery.  There are more than 1,600 portraits of the Presidents and over 2,000 time magazine covers.
