Holiday snacks

Having family home for the holidays fills this otherwise quiet house.  I kid I kid.  This empty nest house is rarely at rest.  I make pounds of fudge over this holiday season.  My new recipe is white chocolate, vanilla toffee crumble fudge.  I also made peanut butter and white chocolate and peanut butter flavors.

I got inspired by reading blogs and watching cooking shows to try new recipes.  My favorite co pilot was the perfect person to share them with.  We had charcuterie on the daily along with many of my finds from the Italian market.  My go to market is Trinacria 406 N Paca St, Baltimore, MD 21201.  They have the best spicy sausages, sauces and wines to pair.

The neighborhood leaves something to be desired their deli and lasagna are a hit.   They introduced me to Cosmo’s hot chopped peppers.  We used it on baguettes, pasta dishes and tacos.  This dish is layered with flavors of their spicy marina sauce and cosmo’s. Double the spice double the pleasure.
