Fall crafts in 1 hour

I seem to have less and less time to decorate and celebrate.  I came up with a quick transformation for under $20 and 1 hour.  I went to the dollar store and found orange hand towels, black decorative rocks and some black birds. I went next door to a second hand treasure store and found a girls skirt, orange sweater and a vase.  I took this multi color skirt and tucked the waist and zipper on the bottom filled with stuffing and did a quick stitch on the top.  The pumpkins are stuffed and gathered completed by some twine. I used the seems of the hand towels and stuffed a pipe cleaner so I could make curly tops. The tops were 2 inch scraps that were stitched  and quickly attached. I cut a circle in the orange sweater and gathered it at the top.  I did a twisted mess of crochet to make the vine. I did several strings and attached them to the next string in no order or counted fashion.   Grab a dead branch off a tree in the park and spray painted it black. A one minute assembly of the painted twig, the rocks and vase completed by hot glue gunning the black birds to the branch and finito.  The pumpkins can stay around through November.
