Julius Garibaldi Melchers (August 11, 1860 – November 30, 1932) was an American artist. He died in Stafford county. His residence is in the quaint town of Falmouth.
Take the time to tour the house. This is a guided tour so check for availability. There is a short video to enjoy before heading to the mansion. The studio is self guided and worth the time to sit and absorb his spirit and talent.
The grounds will be in full bloom April. We went in early March and will be back for another meander around the grounds.
