Farm life

It’s not everyday that a girl gets invited to play with the worlds largest wood chipper.  Maybe not the world’s largest however my world’s largest wood chipper.  This machine is a beast.  Life lessons were learned today.  First logs do not “slither” that is a snake. Second fun fact all snakes in a moment of terror look and sound poisonous.  I am certain sandy the snake was equally concerned with my presence.  Lastly logs are larger than they appear.   I wouldn’t change a single drop of sweat equity about that day.  Each of us left it all on the mat that day.  Cheers to hard working friends I am blessed to call family.

A little knowledge: The woodchipper was invented by Peter Jensen in 1884.  The largest ones are  called Tub Grinders because they can handle wood greater than 8 feet. Pictured is Pete Dundee local farmer and friend.
