President Madison was born in nearby at Belle Grove Plantation in King George County. This city is perfect for hosting a day at the beach or spending the day with a special friend. There are plenty of shops than places to get a cocktail and an entree. Who knew this gem was only an hour away. Montross is a quaint city along the way. I enjoy walking around looking at the local street art.
