During the Civil War, it became a critical location with the construction of Arlington National Cemetery on the grounds of the former home of General Robert E. Lee. Today, the city is home to various historical sites, including the Arlington House and the Marine Corps War Memorial, each echoing the footsteps of the nation’s past. In addition to its rich historic value this city is home to many culinary journeys. I decided to park and walk around the city to see what I could find.
