North Beach

North was formally incorporated in 1910. It was intended to be a residential town.  The papers labeled the city as “Washington’s most popular salt water resort.”
This quaint town situated on the bay is only 35 miles from the Virginia border.  Cons it has a small beach. There was still plenty to do besides walking on the boardwalk. The locals have antiques, and small shops and on the weekends a farmers market.  This is not an over commercialized destination making it fun friendly.
The pier is located at 9123 Atlantic Ave, famous for Rockfish,  Bluefish, White Perch and Crab.  The lower deck of the pier is dedicated for snagging dinner from the ocean.  Visit the Chesapeake Bay treasure.
